As you drive into the uber-cool town of Arroyo Seco you come upon Taos Cow, famous ice cream purveyor. Bon Apetit proclaimed this as one of the ten best ice cream shops in the country. The Monster must make a stop despite the temperature gauge claiming it’s a balmy 26 degrees.
Your standard flavors (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry etc.) are all represented but why not try out Mexican Chocolate, Pinon Caramel or Cherry Ristra? The ice creams are all natural and rGBH free.
You can come for breakfast or lunch (the chicken pot pies look amazing) or stop in for a scoop and walk around this quaint little town.
The Monster is happy to report the ice cream is 100% yummy and the staff wonderfully friendly.
