It’s renowned for its fried chicken. ‘Nuff said.

There is little divey about the hopping space featuring an extensive list of wines and a menu of authentically unhealthy vittles. The Monster orders a glass of the Amici “Winemaker” Chardonnay and waits for the jalapeno-buttermilk marinated, deep fried slow and low bird accompanied with mashed potatoes, collard greens and Texas toast.

This is gonna get ugly and beautiful.

Sure, you might order up some shrimp and grits or…who are we kidding? Come here and get the chicken.

It’s crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and pairs wonderfully with the chipotle honey on the side. It’s a damn fine yard bird and totally worth the trip.
