McCormick & Schmick’s at Easton in Columbus. Another chain. The Monster is getting tired of chain restaurants in Ohio. And yet he keeps ending up at them. His fault, not Ohio’s.
This seafood and steakhouse operates in almost half the states in the US and has been operating since the 70’s. Quite a feat indeed. Now owned by Landry’s, one can expect an ever-changing menu printed daily of pleasing enough fare in a friendly enough environment.
The Monster finds everything about M&S to be fine. He’ll never chose to go to M&S but he’ll also never complain if he ends up there. He’ll find something on the large menu to satisfy him. He’ll think the service is professional. He’ll leave and immediately forget just about everything having to do with the meal because it is just not that memorable.
On this trip The Monster ate some…calamari…some shrimp…some pasta with mussels. Fine enough. Easily forgotten.
