REVIEW: GOLDY’S CORNER

IMG_6893

You’re in Boise.  Tired.  Hungry.  Breakfast.  You go to Goldy’s because it’s the best spot in town but the wait is forever and a day.  Luckily, there is Goldy’s Corner right next door.

Not a big breakfast eater but is that…?  It is.  Chicken pot pie.  Boom!

The Corner is a coffee/pastry shop meant for the spillover from the main restaurant. Order at the counter (friendly service) and take your seat.  Here’s hoping the food is better than the art.

The chicken pot pie arrives piping hot.  You scarf it down like it’s your last meal on death row.  It is delicious.  Not too creamy, not marred by mushrooms, it is a hearty and satisfying way to start the day.

Your belly full, you’re thankful for small miracles like chicken pot pie for breakfast.

Why go?  The wait is too long…
