REVIEW: YANK SING

A trip up North would not be complete without an eating orgy of dim sum. Yank Sing is the call for this terribly fun bacchanal.

Huge room?  Check.  Packed?  Check.  Carts galore?   Check.

And so the revelry begins.  There is chicken bao.  Garlicky green beans.  Soup dumplings.  Honey walnut prawns.  Delicious.

Tangy fried chicken morsels.  Egg rolls with mustard sauce that will have you snorting fire through your nose.  Stuffed crab claws.  Duck with plum sauce.  Alright!

Tsingtao beer to wash it all down.  Now, this is not Koi Palace, The Monster’s dim sum fave but this is also in SF proper (as opposed to Daly City) and the waits aren’t ridiculous like KP oft is.

Afterward a walk through the farmer’s market, the Ferry Building, along the piers.

SF in all its sunny glory is a wonderful place to be.  And a belly full of dim sum sure helps.

Why go?  Yum cha!
